We have moved! (11/07/2008)
11th July 2008 is perhaps one of the most significant dates in the history of Parker and Son (Printers) Ltd, as it started the beginning of a new chapter for our company with a move to a new home. After more than 70 years at Guild Street we relocated to the Maltsters in Wetmore Road, barely a mile away in travelling distance, but light years ahead as an improved working environment. The move to our new purpose built factory took three days to complete, but involved months of planning and preparation. Specialist machine movers were recruited to handle the delicate operation of removal and re-installation of all our printing equipment, and what a spectacular sight it was as the cranes moved in!
